Is there difference between On Site and Off Site SEO?

It’s generally accepted that there are two types of SEO: On-Site SEO and Off-Site SEO.

On Site SEO refers to changes you make on your site to improve your website ranking. A lot of SEO is done when first building your site because it’s very hard to go back and repair your site’s SEO after it has been published. Using clear, properly ordered H tags, labeling images, and using alt text are some forms of On Site SEO.

Spamming keywords, duplicate information, and old school tricks designed to fool search engines are examples of bad SEO. These things will now either hurt your website or have no effect.

Off Site SEO refers to things you do to improve your website ranking that aren’t changes to your site. Backlinks, citations, directory listings, and social media links are forms of Off Site SEO.

Explanation of SEO
05 Jan, 2023
SEO stands for Search Engine Optimization. SEO is the practice of creating and organizing content on a website with the purpose of making it easier for browsers to index (or sort) it by relevance. The more relevant a Search Engine deems your content to a search term, the closer it will appear to the top in organic results when a person searches for that term.
