On Site SEO refers to changes you make on your site to improve your website ranking. Most On Site SEO is done when you first build your site.
Off Site SEO refers to things you do to improve your website ranking that aren’t changes to your site. Backlinks, citations, directory listings, and social media links are forms of Off Site SEO.
SEO stands for Search Engine Optimization. SEO is the practice of creating and organizing content on a website with the purpose of making it easier for browsers to index (or sort) it by relevance. The more relevant a Search Engine deems your content to a search term, the closer it will appear to the top in organic results when a person searches for that term.
